Here Comes The Sun is returning to the Margaret River Region, and this time it’s bigger, brighter and officially on the same weekend as the Western Australia Margaret River Pro, one of the iconic stops on the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour.

Head to 3 Oceans Wines on 25 April 2026 for an epic celebration! Think surf, sunshine and a seriously good soundtrack, with space to spread out, easy to access facilities, and a handpicked selection of food, drink and artisan stalls to match the vibe.

Ross Macpherson, festival director and lifelong surfer, explains why the partnership with WSL makes perfect sense, “The World Surf League had witnessed our events over the years in Margaret River, but more so when we expanded into Torquay in 2024 with Ocean Alley and Ball Park Music at the top of the bill. Aligning with music events is a part of WSL’s goals for 2026 and beyond. Given its relationship with surfing and coastal communities, Here Comes The Sun was a natural fit.”

WSL APAC President Andrew Stark added, “WSL are stoked to partner with the Here Comes the Sun Festival to combine our iconic WSL Championship Tour events in Australia with an exciting music festival experience. Music and surfing have always shared an authentic fit, and this partnership will continue to bring this to life at our icon events.”

From waves to the main stage

The unmissable lineup is a distinctly Australian roll call of crowd pleasers, perfect for kicking back with friends, dancing barefoot in the grass, or simply soaking up the good vibes.

Lime Cordiale headline with their irresistible blend of catchy hooks and effortless charm. Since their debut, the Sydney duo have become firm festival favourites with their legendary, feel good sound.

Joining them are The Jungle Giants, whose indie-rock energy strikes the perfect balance between cool and contagious. With a catalogue of hits that have soundtracked festivals for years, they’re sure to get feet moving and spirits soaring.

The beat continues with standout performances from Young Franco, whose dynamic set blends bass-heavy grooves with sunlit festival energy. Sycco joins the crew, a rising force in Australian music whose bold sound promises an electrifying performance.

Also on the bill are Eliza & The Delusionals, bringing their richly textured indie sound to the coast, and Mariae Cassandra, a phenomenal young songwriter whose joyful, reflective pop feels perfectly at home under blue skies and sunshine.

With the World Surf League partnership now in place, Here Comes The Sun returns as a natural extension of the Western Australian Margaret River Pro, adding music to an event already defined by waves, and a strong sense of community.
