Description

Margaret River is dancing in the streets in a Carnival Parade to celebrate the season of the rains, and dance life back to country after the long dry.

What is it?
They’ll fly a giant street puppet of the Wounded Wild, dance to samba and swirl a magic river, skate and skip masked birds and animals, sing up a storm, roll wheelbarrows of flowers and native plants, parade giant characters and creatures … basically make a big fun rain dance together.

Join with your friends, kids, groups, clubs, families, community, workmates, playmates, pushing or pulling quirky floats on recycled wheels or simply your fun dancing feet.

Where?
Wooditjup-Margaret River Promenade up Wallcliffe Rd through our Community Precinct to Station Rd and back to Margaret River HEAT – Nala Brdip Mia outdoor stage and community grassed area to celebrate!
