Beautiful location, but the experience didn’t meet expectations The Pullman Resort is in a stunning location, the Bunker Bay beach is absolutely beautiful, and the villa itself was spacious with great amenities. Great place to relax and unwind. Unfortunately, our overall experience didn’t quite match what we expected from a resort of this calibre. Check-in was meant to be at 3pm, but we had to wait about 90 minutes at the bar before getting our room. While we were given complimentary drink vouchers, our luggage didn’t arrive until around 6pm. We were also looking forward to a nice dinner with a view, but the main restaurant was under renovation, and meals were served in a conference room, which was disappointing. It would have been helpful to know this at the time of booking. Breakfast felt rushed, and staff seemed stressed and not very welcoming, which was a shame because hospitality is usually what makes Pullman special. On the second day, our room cleaning was delayed until after 4pm, and even then, we had to call reception and wait over 15 minutes to speak to someone. The bathroom also had missing towels and a bath mat on arrival. Overall, while the setting and villa were beautiful, the service and communication fell short of what we expected for the price and Pullman brand. With a bit more care and attention, this could easily be a 5-star experience.

We had such a great stay at Pullman Bunker Bay! The location is stunning, peaceful bushland with direct beach access just a short walk away. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful, especially the buggy drivers who were lovely to chat with and shared great local tips and same as the receptionists! The spa was a perfect way to unwind, and we really appreciated the outdoor shower after coming back from the beach. The food was fantastic too, fresh and full of flavour. They have daily specials for dinner as well. A beautiful, relaxing getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful welcome on arrival, with a warm drink to tickle the taste buds. The room was good, clean and spacious, although I did think it needed a minor renovation to spruce things up a bit. Tea and coffee making facilities, big bathroom with bath, comfortable bed and a little verandah. Breakfast was a buffet style with most things you would want. An espresso coffee wasn't included and was extra. Dinner was quite nice and the ambience was relaxing with the big fireplace alight and the lighting dimmed. Staff were always very helpful. The weather was a bit chilly to contemplate a swim, even if it's heated to 26°C. The private board walk down to the beach is lovely too, and I could imagine sitting there on a sunny day. Lots of local stuff to do too, Wise Winery and Eagle Bay Brewing are very close by.

Decided to stay for a few days here and use the hotel as a base for exploring the area including Margaret River, Cape Naturaliste, Caves and Wineries. Very friendly greeting, taken to villa on a buggy. Very spacious room and bathroom with every amenity you could need. Everywhere was spotless, bed very comfortable and plenty of tea coffee milk etc. Grounds of property spacious and you were definitely not overlooked. Easy walk down to the lake and the beach - which was virtually deserted. Breakfast was self service with a large choice, everything fresh and being continually topped up and cleaned. couldn't fault it. Even bought some bags of their homemade muesli to take with us. Had dinner in the restaurant one night, quality of food superb and reasonably priced.
