Nathan Day Design
Nathan trained in furniture making at the Edward Barnsley Workshop in England and was apprenticed to a renowned West Australian craftsman. Nathan believes strongly in the virtues of the English Arts and Crafts tradition, where furniture was created with integrity by skilled craftsmen.
His approach to furniture design is very much about longevity. "If a piece of furniture is thoughtfully designed, beautifully crafted and appropriately finished, it will be used and loved for generations.” Says Nathan.
Nathan started his workshop in his parents' garage in Yallingup in 2010. Since then he has designed custom furniture for companies like Apple, Louis Vuitton and Woods Bagot. With other key commissions coming from the ATO, The West Australian State Government and Longitude 131 at Uluru.
The workshop is open Monday to Friday via appointment only
