Marri Wood Park Cellar Door is now open for wine tasting. Set amongst natural bush atop their biodynamic, family-run vineyard, visitors can expect a relaxed and truly memorable experience. There is no fee to try all of their wines, including the popular Sparkling, naturally sparkling Pet-Nat, SB, SBS, Chenin and Cab Sav. Book ahead to be greeted with a complimentary cheese platter, or just drop in. They look forward to welcoming you.
Marri Wood Park is a boutique family run and owned,  Demeter certified biodynamic vineyard. Their biodynamic philosophy utilises sustainable practises: no chemicals, no pesticides, no irrigation and no fertilisers. The result is hardy vines that produce high quality, robust and delicious grapes. The berries are hand-picked and sorted, lightly pressed and fermented in an array of fermenters (including clay amphoras, French and Austrian oak barrels) to produce the highest-quality wine.

This was without a doubt one of our favourite wineries in the region. We had a tour with Julian who spent more than 1.5hr with us discussing in detail his ways of winemaking, his philosophies in biodynamic ways of winemaking, treating th land with respect, happy to take less yield for his principles and you can clearly see his passion for winemaking for the past 30+ yrs showing in his wines which are so much in depth, wonderful finish and beautiful wines. Without a doubt one of the best chenin blanc and cabaret savingon that I have tasted in this wine trail and this is what wine trailing is great, you get to see such passionate winemakers who are putting their heart into it and you get to fall in love with a wine not just because of how good it tastes but with the entire backdrop of the storyof how it came out. A wonderful small scale producer.

Had a fantastic afternoon listening to Julian & Helen’s stories and biodynamic methodologies. The Chenin Blanc from all vintages are just second to none

We stopped in for a wine tasting and tried 5 divine wines - cab sav was surprisingly light and easy to drink! Especially by the wood fire on a cosy (wet) day! Easy going wine guide who made for pleasant conversation - would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a family-style, authentic winery!

We were lucky to join their Biodynamic Vineyard Tour & Tasting tour that operates on the last Thursday of the month. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about Julian's (Viticulturist) philosophies of farming. Delicious wine tasting complimented with a cheese platter to share. The Chenin Blanc took us by surprise being lovers of red wines! We highly recommend jumping on tour if you get a chance whilst in Margaret River region. Grateful the amazing opportunity Marri Wood Park 🙌
