Skigh Wine

Star 4.9 (73 Google reviews)

Skigh Wines draws on music, creativity & collaboration in crafting their wines. Minimally made with great fruit from some special sites in the South-West. Gentle, slow, spontaneous ferments lead to vibrant, well-balanced wines that are approachable and alive. The wines are made organically, are vegan friendly and ultimately come from a driving ethos of creating wines they want to drink and proudly share.
Skigh Wine began with sourcing fruit from some amazing growers in Margaret River. They still work closely with these same growers, while now farming two of their own vineyards in Witchcliffe and Yallingup to produce their own organic fruit.

All of the wines on offer are guided gently to bottle using both traditional and new world techniques leading to wines of energy with a sense of place.

From the guys at Skigh -

In amongst the amazing wines that Margaret River produces, we really push ourselves to continually improve our own expressions of Margaret River staples alongside some more unique blends and varietals. Everything we produce, we do in a style that we like to drink ourselves - slightly lower alcohol, good fruit drive and lively acidity. We make wines with the aim of bringing people together, wherever they end up drinking them."

Tasting Room

The Skigh Wine tasting room is a relaxed, converted barn with a sprawling garden and plenty of good wine open for tasting.  Open 7 days from 10:30am - 5pm.

Sit down tastings have a $10 per person fee which is redeemable on purchase. This includes 6 wines from across our ranges and changes week to week.

Walk ins are always welcome but it doesn't hurt to give them the heads up, especially if you're coming in with a group. Dog friendly, kid friendly - all welcome.

One of the best cellar door experiences in the region. Truly incredible range, from your well known usual suspects (coda) to the weird and wonderful. Skigh is a fearless winemaker, and we're the better for it. We were guided through the wine tasting menu by Carrie-Anne, who is generous, knowledgeable, and has an infectious enthusiasm for the the work they do. The pacing was good, and she made us feel at home. Cheese plates are available to order and have at one of the cellar door tables, or you can BYO picnic and enjoy their wines on the beautiful grounds when the weather permits.

An absolutely stunning venue with incredible minimal intervention, natural wines to match. The staff here are friendly, very knowledgeable and showcase some of the most beautiful, vibrant natural wines in the South West. Make sure you stop here on your next wine tour, or for a tasting and glass. You will not be disappointed.

The cellar in Yallingup is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful wine and soak up the relaxation. Dog friendly as well so if I could give more than 5 stars I would! I am apart of the barrel club and I’ve not had a wine I haven’t loved. Could not speak more highly of this place. Can’t wait for my next trip down south to drink the wines I love in the beautiful grounds & meet all the beautiful staff again :)
