Skigh Wine

Skigh Wine is a small label based out of Margaret River focused on thoughtful, organic farming and crafting vibrant, minimal intervention wines. The wines, at their core, represent what Skigh and Jared love to drink - wines that tend towards lower alcohol, bright natural acid, have plenty of character and double down on drinkability.
Skigh Wine began in 2016, sourcing fruit from some amazing growers in Margaret River. They still work closely with these same growers in Margs, and now The Great Southern, while also farming two of their own vineyards, one in Witchcliffe the other in Yallingup, where Skigh now grows its own organic fruit. Both beautiful sites are surrounded by Marri gums in a truly special part of the world.
Making wines that are authentic, delicious and use minimal intervention where pragmatic is the underlying driver for both Skigh and business partner Jared. The brand is an amalgamation of Skigh's 25 years winemaking overseas, and at home in WA, with a desire to carve out their own niche highlighting the best of WA's varied sub regions.

All of the wines on offer are guided gently to bottle using both traditional and new world techniques ending in wines that hold energy, poise and a sense of place.

From the guys at Skigh -

"In a region that is as dense with incredible producers and gorgeous wines as Margaret River, we are well aware that good vin is the norm, not the exception. In amongst this amazing produce, we really push ourselves year on year to constantly improve our unique expressions of Margaret River staples and some less well-known blends and varietals. Everything we produce, we do in a style that we like to drink ourselves - slightly lower alcohol, tight fruit drive and distinctive character. We make wines with the aim of bringing people together, wherever they end up drinking them."

Tasting Room

The Skigh Wine tasting room is a relaxed, converted barn with a sprawling garden and plenty of good wine open for tasting.  We're open 7 days from 10:30am - 5pm.

Sit down tastings have a $10 per person fee which is redeemable on purchase. This includes 6 wines from across our ranges and changes week to week.

Walk ins are always welcome but it doesn't hurt to give them the heads up, especially if you're coming in with a group. Dog friendly, kid friendly - all welcome.
